A week ago, we returned from spending half a month in warm Arizona, and right away I threw myself into preparations for One Of A Kind Show in snowy Chicago. The 4-day show took up the entire 8th floor of the Merchandize Mart (which, at 4 million square feet, was the largest building in the world back when it opened in 1930). It was very crowded, had a diverse selection of artisans and vendors from all over the U.S., and overall was a great success. Now, that the show is behind us and I have gotten plenty of sleep this Monday morning. I wanted to sincerely thank everyone who stopped by my booth to make purchases and/or to say “hello.” I am starting the preparations for my last event of the year – and, luckily, don’t even have to go outside for this one – the wall of my home studio is turning into an art gallery for the Studio Show and Sale taking place this Sunday, December 14th. Also, many photos and stories from our Arizona trip are to be posted here in the upcoming days and weeks… now that I am well rested! So stay tuned.
